The pool was only used for tanning on the floater during the summers & no children were never in the pool ever. I had land scraping pebbles around my first pool when I moved back home & my Bestway pool I had I wore it out & got another Bestway same size but somehow the landscaping pebbles got under the pool & made a hole in seam but now I’m going to add extra padding & a insulation board to make things easier with my 3rd purchase of the Bestway. But it’s strong material & I have no issues with this brand of pool. The only other issue I had was the inlet holes inside of pool were tight fitting leaving air to get under the inlet pieces but I made it work.
The pool is great, but the pump is not. At any rate, the pool is worth the money. I love it.
This is for kids and adults. The pool material is very thick and durable.
Quality is good there were no holes no leaks.
Water pump that comes with it is not very strong. Came with all the part you need to put it together. Water was refreshing. I'd recommend and buy again but with a stronger pump for it!!!

You get MORE than what you pay for, BUT…
1st - The Pump (it is what it is) If we were keeping this pool, it would DEFINITELY NEED ANOTHER PUMP!
2nd - The Video (It is VERY MISLEADING! This pool doesn’t set up like the one in the video! The way the inlet and discharge hook up, is TOTALLY DIFFERENT!
3rd - The Drink shelf, that is installed in the video, YOU DO NOT GET WITH THIS POOL!
All in all, it’s worth the money you pay for it, BUT, the sellers could do a better job in marketing THIS POOL!

We bought a waterfall as an outlet, it's awesome.
For the price this is really a great addition to our garden. Liner is thick. Legs are sturdy. I’m very happy.
The pump does leak quite a bit like other reviewers have mentioned.
used the stock pump for a week running 10hrs for like 4 days and it still didn't circulate a quarter of the water in the pool.
7/25 update
installed the intex c1000 pump this morning and wow what a difference. The volume of water flowing through now is 100x more.
I don't use the included pump. They work but have to be cleaned every other day. I bought a sand filter several years ago and only have to clean/empty at the end of the summer when I break down the pool.
Bottom line is that this is a great product that we love and use all summer to keep cool and have fun. The staff at Bestway should feel proud for building a high quality product that brings much enjoyment to many families. Thank you...

Reason for only giving 4 stars is pool pump that comes with pool.
We were able to hop in and excape the 100 degree heat the same day it was delivered. I know my grandsons will enjoy it tomorrow and the rest of the summer. Make sure to order your clorine etc (and I'd recommend a liner pad as well) at the same time.

Can get away with 10yr and older stepping over the side to get in/out but I recommend getting a ladder.
Pump is almost silent.
Perfect for setting up next to a trampoline and letting kids cannon ball in from the trampoline.
Whirl pools are very easy to get going.
For the price, everything's included, it's a great deal!
Cons:
You must have even ground or the pool sags a lot .. then you have a real shallow end and a very full end the water sloshes out of.
It's easy to assemble just make sure it's leveled, the only problem is the pump. It's not a great pump for the size pool you need a better more powerful pump. The circulation in the pool was bad and continued to cause an algae problem as soon as you upgrade the pump the circulations excellent and the pool is wonderful. It's a great pool and a great size for the money, the pump is just not sufficient for the size pool to cause good circulation, I recommend upgrading to a sand pump for best circulation. But pool size and quality was great we love this on pool!
Now! Onto what you need to purchase alongside this pool to make it amazing.
First, the pump that comes with this pool is inadequate. I very quickly purchased the "Bestway Flowclear 1,000 Gallons Per Hour 120 Volt Above Ground Swimming Pool Water Filter Pump Cartridge with Automatic Shut Off Timer" pump to replace the one that comes with this pool. This larger pump fits the same exact hoses at the pump that comes with this pool, so switching the pump was very simple. It's a much better pump, and I got lucky and got it for a very good deal!
Second, you're going to want a pad for under the pool. I got a 12-foot round pool liner pad so that it would be larger than the pool, and I think that was a good choice.
Third, you'll obviously want a skimmer net, but I also bought a Sepetrel 2023 Upgraded Swimming Pool Spa Jet Vacuum Cleaner with Brush & 56" Pole. This is basically a manual pool vacuum that hooks up to your garden hose. I like it because I basically end up topping off the pool water while vacuuming the pool.
Fourth, chlorine. I've ordered 1 inch tablets to go in a floater, but I started with granules because tablets were just not in stock. I actually quite like the granules - not sure if I'll stick w/ tablets or granules or both. It's probably good to have both in case the tablets just aren't enough for heavy-use days.
Last but not least, you'll want some pool tester strips. I'm using the JNW 7-Way Pool Test Strips, and I really like them. They've helped me maintain the chlorine levels. i've needed to add more granules every day - especially after the kids use the pool.
Oh wait - also, I got a cover...but I'm not using that yet. Still, I'm sure I'll be glad to have it in time.
That's all I've got! I researched pools to death before purchasing this one, and I'm happy with my purchase! I'll likely drain the pool at the end of the season and set it back up again next year assuming it survives the children lol. RIP my water bill though. Probably. (It took about 4 hours to fill)
bought this when it was on sale for $125. For the price my expectations were low. This thing was so simple to set up, took me about 45 minutes to set it up by myself, 10 minutes of this was me trying to find one of the tubes that I had accidentally put underneath the tarp underneath it. Other than that setup was a breeze. Once filled, I found that it was plenty big enough for my two toddler grandchildren to play in, and also big enough for me to swim tethered to the side of it to get some exercise. Plenty of room to float around on a floatie on a sunny day. For $125, can't beat it. The filter seems to run well and I can buy placements at any store nearby or here on Amazon. It looks great in my backyard and the neighbors are jealous.
The set up was extremely easy and I had it together in under 1 hour by myself. It took around 4 hours to fill up.
The pump is up and running and I may end up replacing it eventually.
The filter leaks where the hoses connect so that’s a big bummer. Minus one star because I have to buy new hoses or a new filter now.
Can’t beat this pool for the price though!!
Update: I got the pump to not leak by jamming the hoses on further and using double hose clamps.
We had problems with the pump leaking due to a missing gasket ring messaged the company and they responded quickly and sent what we needed right away so amazing customer service!! Will definitely be buying another pool from them when it’s time to upgrade to a bigger one
First, it should mention that the pump comes with a 210 v power cord. If you don't have that already built into your home you will not be able to plug it in. So we had to buy another pump because adapters are not made for this. To top it off our pump was delayed and we than had to track it down.
The liner looked sturdy and we figured the small pebbles left on the ground from smoothing out the ground before would not be an issue. To our surprise we had grass growing in the pool through a little hole that was made buy one of the pebbles. So now we are waiting for patches that must be coming from another country to patch up the pool. We hope this works, if not we have just spent $400 for a bird bath.
